Job Description
  1. We are seeking an HR Officer to join our team and support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems to streamline HR processes.
  2. The successful candidate will provide expert advice on policies and procedures relating to HR, as well as actively participate in recruitment and hiring processes.
  3. The role involves preparing job descriptions, posting ads, and managing the hiring process through to second interviews, including conducting qualifying interviews and testing.
  4. Additionally, the HR Officer will develop training and development programs, assist in performance management processes, and support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.
  5. Maintaining employee records according to policy and legal requirements is also a key aspect of the role.
  6. The ideal candidate will have experience in an HR officer or administrator position and possess knowledge of HR functions, labour laws and disciplinary procedures.
  7. Proficient in MS Office and possessing outstanding organisational and time-management abilities is essential.
  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving and decision-making aptitude, strong ethics and reliability are required for this role.
  9. A degree in business administration, social studies or a relevant field is preferred.
Requirements
  1. Experience in an HR officer, administrator or other HR position.
  2. Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development, etc.).
  3. Understanding of labour laws and disciplinary procedures.
  4. Proficient in MS Office.
  5. Outstanding organisational and time-management abilities.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.
  8. Strong ethics and reliability.
  9. BSc/BA in business administration, social studies or a relevant field; further training will be a plus.
