Job Description- We are seeking an HR Officer to join our team and support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems to streamline HR processes.
- The successful candidate will provide expert advice on policies and procedures relating to HR, as well as actively participate in recruitment and hiring processes.
- The role involves preparing job descriptions, posting ads, and managing the hiring process through to second interviews, including conducting qualifying interviews and testing.
- Additionally, the HR Officer will develop training and development programs, assist in performance management processes, and support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.
- Maintaining employee records according to policy and legal requirements is also a key aspect of the role.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in an HR officer or administrator position and possess knowledge of HR functions, labour laws and disciplinary procedures.
- Proficient in MS Office and possessing outstanding organisational and time-management abilities is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving and decision-making aptitude, strong ethics and reliability are required for this role.
- A degree in business administration, social studies or a relevant field is preferred.
- Experience in an HR officer, administrator or other HR position.
- Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development, etc.).
- Understanding of labour laws and disciplinary procedures.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Outstanding organisational and time-management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.
- Strong ethics and reliability.
- BSc/BA in business administration, social studies or a relevant field; further training will be a plus.
