Job Title: Digital Transformation Strategist (Strategy and Regulatory Lead)Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Digital Transformation Strategist to lead our Digital & Technology strategy, shaping and overseeing its execution. This role will drive real outcomes, including contributing to comprehensive digital and technology strategies, managing collaboration with senior leaders, and developing and maintaining reporting and analysis to track performance against strategic roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute significantly to the development of comprehensive digital and technology strategies that align with the organization's business goals and objectives.
  • Manage collaboration with senior leaders and across AusNet to communicate the strategies, required actions, and change initiatives across the organisation.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and budgeting cycles, and develop and maintain reporting and analysis to track performance against strategic roadmap.
  • Support the organisation on strategic deep dives, simplifying complex topics, supporting prioritisation and focus, and bringing clarity.
  • Manage input, and support for, Line of Business regulatory submissions, reviews, and engagements.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to ensure business unit Digital requirements are appropriately supported through regulatory review processes.
  • Contribute to the development of capex and opex plans and forecasts, aligned with Line of Business needs, Regulatory budgets, and Finance requirements, and support Digital and Technology leadership stewardship and reporting.
  • Prepare accurate, insightful, and high-quality materials for internal and external senior leadership, including Board, AusNet executives, Regulators, and Government stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Experience in strategy development, implementation, and delivery (3+ years relevant work experience; management consulting or corporate strategy role).
  • Ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into actionable technology strategies.
  • Commercial acumen and experience developing cost-benefit analysis, business cases, and risk analysis.
  • Undertaken quantitative and financial business analysis, extracting insights, particularly in areas of ambiguity.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, particularly in analyses and presentations (essential).
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to influence and communicate at an executive level.

Salary Range:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 AUD, based on industry standards and the candidate's level of experience.
