About the Role


At Essential Energy, we're seeking an experienced Senior Industrial Relations Specialist to lead our Business Partnering and Employee Relations teams. As a key member of our HR function, you'll provide strategic advice and support to the business on people and industrial relations matters.


This influential role involves managing complex industrial issues, overseeing the enterprise agreement process, and executing the HR Strategy. You'll foster positive employer-employee relationships and support the entire employee lifecycle.


About You


You'll be a skilled professional with extensive experience in senior industrial and employee relations within complex organisations. You'll have a proven track record in business partnering, interpreting workplace relations legislation, and providing consistent, reliable advice.


Your expertise includes managing disputes, grievances, and union negotiations, consistently achieving positive outcomes. With strong technical skills, you'll excel in applying industrial instruments and policies, demonstrating thought leadership and problem-solving abilities.


Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in industrial relations, employment law or human resources or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications
