Industrial Relations Specialist

The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Employee and Industrial Relations Specialist to join our central Human Resources- IR/ER team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will provide industrial and employee relations leadership experience, strategic advice, and support to Workforce Management projects and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Interpret and apply various awards and collective bargaining agreements to provide expert advice on industrial relations matters.
- Develop and implement solutions to enhance employee engagement and collaboration with project teams.
- Liaise with specialist teams and the business to provide timely and accurate industrial and employee relations advice.
- Provide weekly reports on the status of matters raised and escalate issues as necessary.
- Develop and maintain current knowledge of legislative changes and their impact on industrial relations.
- Proven experience in industrial relations, employee engagement, and workforce management.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Law, Human Resource Management, Industrial/Employee Relations, Employment Law, or a related discipline.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with people at all levels.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
