Therapeutic Team Leader - Community Healing Specialist

We are seeking a strong Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander male to step into the role of Therapeutic Team Leader, supporting community healing through culturally grounded and trauma-informed programs.

This is an exceptional opportunity to walk alongside mob, support healing journeys, and guide a passionate team making a real impact on the ground. Relocation support is available for candidates moving from Melbourne.

About the Role
  • Lead a team of group facilitators and case managers working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals and families impacted by Family Violence.
  • Ensure programs are delivered with cultural safety, integrity, and strong community connection.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee the delivery of therapeutic programs aimed at reducing family violence in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
  2. Foster a culture of safety, respect, and inclusivity within the team and among clients.
Requirements
  • Proven experience working in Family Violence (essential).
  • A solid understanding of trauma-informed and culturally responsive practice.
  • No prior leadership experience required - training and ongoing support provided.
  • A Diploma or above in a relevant field (training support available).
  • Passion for walking alongside mob on their healing journey.
