Regional Aboriginal Community Liaison Officer
You will work with various stakeholders to develop localized solutions addressing family violence issues in the community.
This role is pivotal in supporting a collective effort to prevent, reduce and respond to family violence within Aboriginal communities.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Action Group to establish strategies and plans aimed at empowering local communities.
Promoting community-led initiatives, this position will provide secretariat support to group meetings ensuring effective communication and coordination.
Enhancing relationships and building trust with the community, you will contribute significantly towards creating a safer environment for Aboriginal families.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing community-based solutions to address family violence
- Collaborating with the Action Group to strengthen community engagement and participation
- Fostering partnerships with local organizations to promote collective impact
- Providing administrative support to ensure smooth operation of group meetings and activities
