Are you an experienced project scheduler looking to make a valuable contribution to Australia's land capability? We're seeking a driven and detail-focused professional to join a leading defence program within the land systems division. This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping complex and critical projects that support our national defence capability.
About the RoleAs a project scheduler, you'll be responsible for the development, management, and continual improvement of the project schedule across all phases. Working closely with key stakeholders across the enterprise, you'll provide valuable insights and analysis to drive decision-making and keep projects on track. This role requires strong technical scheduling skills combined with a proactive, collaborative approach.
- Maintain and continuously improve integrated project schedules across the lifecycle
- Conduct schedule health checks and analysis on progress, baseline variations, and risk to timelines
- Engage and collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders across the land enterprise
- Coordinate with managers and project staff to ensure accurate schedule updates
- Provide advice on scheduling impacts, critical path analysis, and forecasting

To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in project scheduling or project controls within the defence sector
- Proficiency in open plan professional (or transferable scheduling software experience)
- Strong understanding of project governance, planning, budgets and schedule risk analysis
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
