Project Manager (Scheduling)

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a focus on Scheduling to lead our projects to successful completion.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Create, monitor and review detailed project schedules to align with project objectives
  • Develop mechanisms to monitor progress, manage schedules and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders
  • Assess project issues and collaborate with project managers and senior stakeholders to develop solutions that meet productivity, quality and client goals
  • Work with program management to plan and manage resource requirements, analyse data and prepare reviews
  • Interpret and review tender or contract documentation to ensure schedules meet contractual obligations
About the Role
  • Skill Requirements:
  • Strong ability to engage, influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • Proven experience in scheduling for large, complex Defence-related projects
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results in complex environments and resolve scheduling issues
  • Proficiency in MS Project and working knowledge of related disciplines such as forecasting and cost estimation
  • Ability to consistently produce high-quality outcomes under challenging conditions

The successful applicant must be an Australian Citizen with a minimum of Baseline Security Clearance. A long-term contract opportunity is available, based in Melbourne, offering an immediate start.
