About the Role

NCS Australia is seeking a highly skilled Data Strategy Lead to join our Data & AI Practice. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in defining the necessary data capabilities for organisations to transform raw data into actionable insights efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data strategies that drive business value creation
  • Collaborate with senior client stakeholders to provide thought leadership and drive NCS Data Consulting engagements
  • Create actionable roadmaps to provide tangible recommendations
  • Lead data strategy initiatives and drive business outcomes through data and analytics
  • Stay up-to-date with key trends such as Generative AI and Data Ethics, and apply them to relevant client problems
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar client or consulting role leading data strategy initiatives
  • Proven track record of driving business value through data in medium and large organisations
  • Expertise in business use case elicitation and workshop facilitation
  • Deep understanding of data capabilities, including people, processes, technology, and governance
  • Strong knowledge of data management areas such as metadata, master data, and reference data, and the ability to assess maturity
  • Demonstrated expertise in data governance with a focus on operationalization strategies
  • Experience with design-led approaches for use case elicitation, solution design, and deployment, with an emphasis on adoption
  • Proficiency in creating actionable roadmaps to provide tangible recommendations
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teams and clients
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills, using tact and sensitivity
  • Results-driven and resilient under pressure
