The Senior Data Strategy Manager will play a key role in the development, definition, and ongoing evaluation of the division's longer-term data strategy and transformation priorities. This role will work closely with the Data Leadership Team, Australia Retail & Commercial Leadership Team, and Enterprise Data Leadership Team to ensure that the division's data strategy is aligned with broader organisational goals and targets.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and evolve the division's data strategy in consultation with key stakeholders, including the Data Leadership Team, Australia Retail & Commercial Leadership Team, and Enterprise Data Leadership Team.
- Rationalise and quantify prioritizations and trade-offs required, and measure the return on investment associated with choices the division will face.
- Support the development and evolution of the division's long-term transformation priorities and sequencing, and major change programs.
- Monitor, track, and ensure the realisation of the division's strategy and priorities, and manage the strategic risks associated with the strategy.
- Strategy Formulation and Development: Experience in defining, building, and articulating business strategies for a large-scale organisation in line with broader organisational goals and targets.
- Analysis and Problem Solving: Structured approach to strategic analysis, with ability to succinctly frame and solve strategic problems, using data.
- Market Research and Analysis: Ability to translate external macro insights into considerations for competitive and compelling strategy formulation.
- Strategic Risk Planning: Experience in identification, assessment, and management of strategy-related risks.
- Commercial Acumen: High financial literacy, ability to read and understand financial statements, and recognise how different actions and strategies can impact profitability and revenue.
- Communication Skills: Experience communicating complex ideas to senior audiences in simple, compelling ways.
- Effective Collaboration: Working with others to solve business problems with the appropriate level of empathy and joint problem solving.
