Job Role Overview

A Key Account Manager role contributes to sales efforts for products and services within allocated accounts, focusing on achieving assigned revenue targets and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Collaboration with client service teams and internal offering teams is crucial to deliver comprehensive solutions. The individual will act as a trusted advisor, understanding and addressing clients' needs by proposing multiple fit-for-need solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Understand key client priorities to achieve or exceed assigned revenue and growth goals in assigned account(s) or sales territory.
  • Act as an advisor on marketing strategies, market research, sales management, industry trends, and product capabilities.
  • Anticipate clients' needs and develop proposed solutions to complex business issues, collaborating with specialists.
  • Pursue new business and contract expansion opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Interface with executive-level stakeholders at existing and prospective clients.
  • Represent the company to the client and vice versa in all sales-related activities.
  • Maintain high client satisfaction with contracted deliverables.
  • Effectively manage renewals and subscriptions.
  • Mentor less experienced sales team members on selling, account management, and negotiation skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 3-5 years of proven account management experience.
  • Familiarity with core products and services portfolio.
  • Exceptional communication and listening skills to engage with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working autonomously, taking ownership of tasks and projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling data-driven decision-making.
  • Demonstrated strength in collaboration, fostering teamwork across departments.
  • Proficiency in Excel, data analysis, and process-driven work.
  • Business development experience and exceptional presentation skills.
