Health and Safety Specialist

SGS is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Advisor to join our team in Notting Hill. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will provide professional advice and support to multiple business units across various sites.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert advice and guidance on health and safety matters to ensure a safe working environment.
- Develop and maintain risk management strategies to mitigate potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor safety practices and provide coaching and training to employees.
- Investigate incidents and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures.
- Tertiary qualification in Health and Safety or a related field.
- Current qualifications in Training and Assessment.
- Qualifications in incident investigation techniques (ICAM or similar).
- Lead Auditor qualification in Health and Safety or Quality.
- Extensive experience in health and safety management, including risk management and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of Australian Work Health and Safety Legal Framework.
- Intermediate to advanced level of computer skills.
