Safety Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Applications Specialist to join our Safety team in Melbourne's South Eastern suburbs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers across Victoria and Australia, ensuring the safety of employees during on-site projects.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and evaluate workplace environments, equipment, and practices to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Collect and analyze samples of potentially toxic materials to identify potential hazards.
- Demonstrate the correct use of safety equipment and provide training to customers.
- Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Assemble and test products and equipment to ensure quality and safety standards.
- Monitor and report on rental stock levels to ensure adequate inventory.
- Arrange replacement of rental equipment and ensure adequate levels of consumables are available.
- Source and acquire 3rd party equipment as required.
- Maintain accurate service records and provide regular reports to management.
- Continuously improve and add value to processes to ensure exceptional customer service.
- A positive, can-do attitude and strong communication skills.
- Experience in a similar position, with a strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation and diagrams.
- Ability to comprehend technical problems and provide solutions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Computer operation and Microsoft applications.
- Current Driving Licence.
