Job Title:

A Senior Financial Director is required to lead the financial operations of a property development company. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing accounts payable and receivable, as well as overseeing payroll, BAS, GST, and compliance reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement financial plans and strategies to ensure the company's financial goals are met.
  • Manage and maintain accounting systems and processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and monthly financial reports to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
  • Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Analyse financial data to identify areas for cost savings and process improvements.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance and minimum 5 years' experience in a senior financial role within the property development industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction-specific accounting, contracts, and compliance.
  • Excellent skills in MYOB, Xero, or similar accounting software.
  • Proven track record of achieving financial targets and improving business efficiency.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work effectively under pressure.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of financial management principles and practices, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively.
