**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our team as a Finance Transformation Specialist. This role combines finance business partnering with a focus on cost accounting to deliver impactful decision-making support. You will work closely with General Managers and Senior Finance leaders to identify transformation opportunities and enhance profitability.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Developing and driving initiatives for business transformation and operational improvements to support profitability and capital efficiency
  • Managing and maintaining accurate records of average costs for materials, packaging, WIP, and finished goods
  • Conducting variance analysis and overseeing budget management for all cost-related issues
  • Analysing production costs and providing recommendations for improvement
  • Designing and maintaining accurate costing systems for labour, production, and material supply
  • Involvement in costing for new products and managing month-end close for cost accounting
  • Producing detailed monthly reports on material, labour, and overhead costs
  • Performing stock reconciliations, cycle counts, and coordinating inventory controls

**Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have a degree in finance or accounting and substantial experience in costing, ideally within the manufacturing sector. A proactive, disciplined approach to work and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, positive team environment are also essential.

**Desirable Skills and Experience:**

  • Membership in a professional accounting body (CA, CPA, CIMA)
  • Proven experience in plant or management accounting, with a strong focus on cost analysis
  • In-depth understanding of product costing (essential)
  • Prior experience in pharmaceutical or FMCG sectors (desirable but not mandatory)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (D365) and/or Power BI is an advantage
  • Strong commercial acumen and excellent relationship management abilities

**Estimated Salary Range:** AU$80,000 - AU$120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
