**Position Description**

Your new role:
Volvo Group Australia HQ, Wacol on Brisbane’s southside, has an initial 12 month contract opportunity available for a Talent Acquisition Partner to join our team. This role will work closely with the Senior Business Partner - Talent Acquisition & Onboarding and the broader People Experience team, to provide end-to-end recruitment services across Volvo Group Australia as we transform our Talent Acquisition function. Partner with key stakeholders and hiring managers utilising contemporary resourcing solutions to attract, engage and source top talent, core to business strategy.
Key responsibilities include:

- In delivering exceptional customer service, work closely with key stakeholders to fulfil talent acquisition requirements, building sourcing capability, adequately qualifying and delivering across a variety of strategic and operational white and some blue-collar positions
- Strategically source talent through appropriate channels including targeted advertising, market mapping, LinkedIn Recruiter, industry engagement, talent pipelining, international recruitment, referrals and partnering with agencies as appropriate
- Build credibility and expertise through strengthening relationships and partnering with Hiring Managers and key stakeholders utilising data and insights
- Execute, track and measure recruitment activity accurately in accordance with compliance and governance requirements
- Work on continuous improvement initiatives including supporting talent acquisition strategies, system optimisation and process efficiencies
- Assist with annual Talent Programs including Scholarship, Intern and Apprenticeship activities
- Provide onboarding support as required including conducting induction related activities
- Other initiatives as directed by the Senior Business Partner - Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

About you:

- Demonstrated experience in talent sourcing and successful project management
- An autonomous nature coupled with an ability to manage competing priorities with a client service focus
- Well-developed problem solving, conceptual thinking and facilitation skills to influence others constructively and build partnerships with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Exceptional communication, negotiation and organisational skills and proven relationship building ability at all levels
- A true team player with a passion for all things talent acquisition and employer branding
- A solutions based approach, motivated by continuous improvement and a willingness to question the status quo
