**YOUR NEW ROLE**
The Vice President - Services and Retail is an Executive Leadership position within the Group ensuring continued growth and sustained profitability of the Department. You will be directly responsible for the leadership and strategic direction of Commercial, Connected Services, Retail, Warranty and Campaigns, Technical and Parts Pricing departments.
Critical to the success of the role, this leader is responsible for the effective leadership, management and mentoring of a high performing team of employees to meet strategic objectives and operational targets. With strong commercial skills and exceptional people management experience, the VP will be well versed in managing people through change, coaching for performance and driving a team culture that supports agility and innovation.
Key responsibilities include:

- Provide values-based leadership to ensure consistent and effective operational and commercial performance of the Services and Retail department focused on operational excellence and sustainable, profitable growth
- Drive strategic business growth through effective cross functional teams (commercial crew) developing customer focussed initiatives
- Develop and continuously improve all areas of the Services and Retail team to align with strategic position for each of the brands (Volvo, Mack and UD), and ensure alignment of customer / market need, and dealer requirements
- Develop and execute sales & marketing strategies for the Department and actively drive realisation of sales targets in line with the agreed VGA Business Plan including optimising market share, product price realisation, and product positioning in the marketplace
- Promote and market total offer including Commercial, Service Agreements, Parts & Product Management, Price Management and Aftersales National Fleets in order to increase parts and labour penetration
- In conjunction with dealership management, drive the development and growth of the Services and Retail operations of the dealer network
- The development, submission and follow-up of forecasts, business plans and budgets in relation to sales and marketing activities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and dealer networks to maximise customer satisfaction
- Analyse and present a financial report (monthly) on a Group contribution level, analysing trends and forecasts for parts, services, warranty, claims and retail development and be an active member of VGA’s Executive Leadership team
- Grow the Volvo Truck, Mack Truck and UD Truck Product and Parts business within Australia and New Zealand and Papua New Guinea ensuring volume growth and market penetration
- Overall responsibility for the Service activities of Volvo Trucks, Mack Trucks and UD Trucks in Australia and the marketing of parts and service bundles within Australia, New Zealand and PNG

- Exceptional communication, negotiation and organisational skills and proven relationship building ability at all levels
