About the Role

CatholicCare Diocese of Broken Bay is seeking an experienced Accounts Supervisor to join their Head Office Finance Team. This permanent, full-time position is based in Pennant Hills and offers a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Data validation and checking of all supplier invoices in the Concur AP system.
  2. Accurate coding of all invoices to appropriate general ledger account codes.
  3. Monitoring incoming invoices and invoices within the workflow to ensure timely approval.
  4. Process regular payment runs to ensure all suppliers are paid in accordance with payment terms.
  5. Reconciliation of major supplier accounts to ensure all invoices are received and processed.
  6. Constantly review processes and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  7. Responsible for running and reconciling the billing interface files between the Carelink system and the Finance system.
  8. Processing all manual invoice transactions in the accounting system.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Accounting or related discipline.
  • Extensive experience in modern Accounts Payable / Receivable systems with managing end-to-end processes.
  • Experience in modern ERP accounting platforms.
  • Account reconciliation skills including general ledger, subsidiary ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation and fixed assets.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • High level competency with software for financial reporting, including advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work cooperatively within a team to deliver management outcomes.
