Job Description

The role involves working as part of the Outsourcing Finance division, providing outstanding services to international clients across a diverse range of industries. The main responsibilities include:

  • Client-facing role as the day-to-day contact point for the client
  • Responsibility for accounts payable, bank reconciliations and other processing
  • Preparation of the month-end close process
  • Preparation of the monthly/quarterly management accounts including reporting pack
  • Cash flow management and processing of supplier payment runs
  • Preparation of payroll tax and workers compensation reconciliations
  • Preparation and lodgement of monthly/quarterly business and instalment activity statements
  • Utilising cloud technology to drive process improvements both internally and externally
  • Assist in the supervision and training of junior staff
  • Communicate with clients and colleagues
  • Progress towards providing advisory services to key business stakeholders
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3 – 6 years' experience working in an accounting role within Australia
  • Completed a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
  • Ability to work to tight time schedules
  • Experience with Xero, Netsuite or other cloud accounting software would be beneficial
  • Strong numerical and IT skills
  • Sound Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Willingness to learn
