As a key member of our organization, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive business growth and build long-term relationships with clients in Canberra and surrounding areas.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the Structured Cabling marketplace in ANZ and deep technical knowledge of copper and fibre Structured Cabling Solutions. With this expertise, you will provide remote and onsite technical support to enable informed business decisions regarding warranties, installation practices, adherence to relevant standards, and effective project strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide expert technical guidance to support the development of innovative solutions and ensure seamless execution of projects.
  2. Collaborate closely with the sales team to align the role as a value-add by both internal staff and external customer pillars.
  3. Work collaboratively with global technical teams to share technical knowledge, develop globally aligned solutions, and create a unified global technical organization.
  4. Contribute to the creation of high-quality technical white papers, supporting documentation, and training materials for the online Customer Service Portal system.
  5. Coordinate and conduct practical installer training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
  6. Maintain and update records, testing parameters, and other necessary information to support the sales organization in securing projects and business opportunities.
Requirements:
  1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role or lesser but from structured cabling industries.
  2. Strong organizational skills to anticipate, plan, prioritize, and manage workload independently.
  3. Flexible, enthusiastic, and committed to continuous self-improvement and contributing positively to the team.
  • BICSI - RCDD accreditation is desirable.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence key internal and external stakeholders.
