The Strategic Partnerships and Education Manager is a multifaceted position focused on expanding partnership engagement and business development to support the growth of ARMS' membership base and the diversification of ARMS revenue sources.
This role plays an integral part in supporting ARMS's mission in advocating the importance of research management. The incumbent will work with key member groups in the preparation of responses to policy consultations and similar initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide timely strategic advice, high-level analytical skills, and business acumen to develop new initiatives and business development models and partnerships.
- Review policy, procedures, and practice in implementing new processes, resources, and systems for business development activities.
- Manage day-to-day job activities while focusing on strategic agendas.
- Work in a senior-level role with an understanding of research management and a detailed understanding of the key responsibilities of research management professionals.
- A high-level communicator and go-getter with excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

- Experience in business development, education, and professional development, policy, and advocacy or related areas, preferably in higher education.
