About the Role:
As our Centre Director, you will be at the heart of our Bayswater community, overseeing daily operations to ensure quality care, compliance with regulations, and a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere.
This role blends hands-on leadership with strategic planning to cultivate a positive learning environment, enriching every child's experience and fostering a supportive team culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspire and Lead: Mentor and guide our talented educators, promoting collaboration, growth, and a nurturing workplace.
- Ensure Excellence: Maintain high standards, ensuring all regulatory and safety requirements are met in a secure and joyful setting.
- Community Building: Strengthen our centre's bonds by engaging with families and local organizations, enhancing our reputation and impact.
- Financial & Budget Management: Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation, ensuring effective management and sustainable growth.
- Program Innovation: Work alongside educators to create engaging, developmentally appropriate programs that reflect our values and inspire children's love of learning.
- Mentorship and Team Development: Passionate about guiding and supporting educators to develop their skills and confidence, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented culture.
- Conflict Resolution: Skilled in managing and resolving conflicts constructively, ensuring all concerns are handled with empathy and respect.
- Innovative Approach: Keeps up-to-date with early childhood education trends, creatively incorporating best practices to continually enhance our centre's programs.

Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3-5 years of leadership experience in an early childhood setting
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and resource management
- Deep understanding of childcare regulations and safety standards
- Exceptional communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- A natural relationship-builder, dedicated to creating a warm, inclusive environment for all
