About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in [Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year]. As a key member of our security practice, you will be responsible for identifying, testing, and mitigating security issues and incidents.

Job Responsibilities
  • You will own and deliver projects to meet our quarterly and yearly roadmap objectives, focusing on risk reduction and vulnerability remediation.
  • You will collaborate with our team to select the best approach for defining security solutions and implementing necessary controls.
  • You will assist with penetration testing exercises, triage bug bounty submissions, and perform code reviews for security remedial work.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • At least 2 years of experience in information security fundamentals.
  • Strong presentation and written documentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A builder mindset, with a willingness to learn, ask questions, and execute with high agency.
  • Experience with cloud security best practices, distributed web-based applications services, and source code repositories.
  • Familiarity with Secure SDLC, DAST, and SAST, as well as web application penetration testing and secure coding.
