Role Overview

The Addictions Group Facilitator will work with adults in a group setting, providing support and guidance to patients with mental health issues and substance misuse or problematic behaviors. This role is ideal for experienced mental health professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality care and making a positive impact on people's lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement skills groups that cater to the needs of adult patients with addictions.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to patients, helping them achieve their treatment goals.
  • Facilitate group sessions, promoting a safe and supportive environment for patients to share their experiences and receive feedback.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years' post-graduate experience in mental health and group facilitation.
  • Registration/qualifications within your relevant field or industry body (e.g., AHPRA).
  • Proven experience in addictions group facilitation and therapy modalities (CBT, DBT).
  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
