Leadership Role: Production Operations Management

The ideal candidate will oversee the day-to-day manufacturing operations within a fast-paced bakery environment. As a key leadership figure, you will drive team performance, champion a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

About the Role:

  • Daily Operations Management: Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety.

  • Team Leadership / Team Mentorship and Development:

    • Recruit, onboard, and motivate employees to fill roles with capable and engaged individuals.

    • Nurture talent and develop future leaders to drive the team and business forward.

  • Production Planning and Scheduling: Plan and coordinate production activities to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.

  • Compliance Management: Maintain and ensure compliance with quality policies, safety, food safety, and sanitation standards.

  • Reporting: Provide accurate and timely reports on production performance, inventory, and budget.

  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Implement initiatives to enhance production processes and drive efficiency.

  • Communication: Foster effective communication and relationships within the team and across the organization.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience in a complex manufacturing environment, ideally within the bakery/FMCG/food/pharma industries.

  • Previous track record in leading medium to large teams and enhancing employee engagement and driving top performance.

  • Conflict resolution skills with the ability to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and the ability to rapidly learn new systems.

  • Superior time management, prioritizing, and problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

  • Great communications skills with the ability to adjust communication style to wide audiences.
