Retail Operations Manager

This role plays a pivotal part in overseeing all retail operations, managing teams and driving business growth.
As a full-time position, it requires a strong background in operational management, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to adapt to change.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the overall image and standards of the store, including implementation and adherence to company policies and procedures.
They will monitor stock levels, ensure ingredients and products are constantly replenished, and record incoming and outgoing business expenses.
The ideal candidate will also supervise team members, ensuring they comply with company policies and standards, and recruit, train, and develop competent team members in terms of operations and customer service.
A seasonal marketing strategy will be implemented to promote and boost sales of goods.
Requirements:- A relevant diploma or advanced diploma in a related field is essential
- Minimum 12 months experience in a retail outlet at a managerial level is required
- Minimum 12 months people management experience is necessary
- Minimum 12 months inventory management experience is required
- Minimum 12 months experience in store merchandising, ensuring product placement aligns with store layout and customer preferences is necessary
- Minimum 12 months experience in using retail management systems is required
- A strong operational management background is essential
- Ability to work well under pressure is necessary
- Passion for driving customer service is required
