We are seeking a high-performing Business Development Manager to support the HPI vendor. The core responsibility of this role will see the successful candidate effectively manage the relationship between Ingram Micro and HPI. Through effective relationship management with the Vendor Manager, the Business Development Manager will ensure that margin and revenue numbers are met, managing and growing the channel while ensuring all forecasting and reporting is maintained.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Meet and exceed revenue and sales targets to drive business growth.
  2. Regularly engage with partners to expand our product portfolio and build strong, enduring relationships.
  3. Effectively manage and nurture the relationship between Ingram Micro and HPI.
  4. Collaborate closely with the Vendor Manager to achieve margin and revenue targets.
  5. Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to meet sales revenue and profitability metrics.
  6. Assist in executing quarterly marketing plans and collaborate with the Ingram Micro sales team to maximize brand visibility.
  7. Collaborate with the Vendor Manager and support associates to ensure continued success of the portfolio.
  8. Provide timely and accurate reporting and forecasting to inform decision-making.

Requirements :

  • A strong background in Channel Sales is essential.
  • Extensive experience working with relevant Partners in Australia is required.
  • Experience with HPI or similar vendors will be highly desirable.
  • Experience working in IT distribution is advantageous.
  • Excellent relationship management skills, both internally and externally.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Previous experience in developing Sales and Territory plans, with the ability to present plans effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
  • A track record of effectively managing a channel in highly competitive markets.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent business acumen, with the ability to drive growth and manage complex relationships. A salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum reflects the level of expertise required for this position.
