Job Title

We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven advisor to fill a vacant role in our operations team.

Role Description:

The successful candidate will coach and support the business to understand their risk, determine and implement appropriate risk management activities, including the development of safe working procedures and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead risk assessments and draw on operational expertise
  • Evaluate and implement controls to ensure effectiveness
  • Support operations with audit, engagement, training, investigation, and continuous improvement activities

Requirements:

  • Formal qualification in occupational health and safety and previous experience in a similar role in a medium/high risk industry
  • Working knowledge and understanding of all relevant safety legislation
  • Experience related to risk and compliance management
  • Effective stakeholder management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Solution-focused approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to work positively in a team environment or autonomously
