About the Role:
- Lead tree inspections and data improvement initiatives in line with urban forest management best practices.
- Investigate and resolve tree-related damage to public assets.
- Support safety investigations and help implement corrective actions.
- Liaise with stakeholders regarding works on public land, ensuring effective coordination of arboricultural services.
- Manage resources to support insurance claims, tree retention, and risk mitigation.
About You:
- You are a qualified and experienced arboriculture professional with a strong understanding of tree risk and urban forest management principles.
- Bring a Diploma of Arboriculture or extensive relevant experience in the field.
- Certification or working knowledge of Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ) and/or Quantified Tree Risk Assessment (QTRA).
- Proven experience managing tree-related issues, ideally within a local government setting.
- Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and digital tools to support informed decision-making.
- Familiarity with urban asset protection and the challenges of managing trees in built environments.
- A current Victorian Driver's Licence.
Requirements:
- Undergo a full employment medical and police check.
