Join our global technical team as a Technical Support Engineer and play a crucial role in delivering exceptional support to customers across the Asia Pacific region.
About This Role:This is a unique opportunity for an experienced technical professional to leverage their expertise, technical skills, and passion for engineering to make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities:- Technical Support: Provide timely and effective technical support to internal teams, external customers, distributors, and field personnel through remote and onsite interactions.
- Problem-Solving: Participate in a rotating 24/7 support program to address system and service-related issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve complex problems efficiently.
- Hardware and Software Configuration: Configure and troubleshoot hardware and software for specialized applications, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Service Promotion: Promote and support the adoption of technical service plans through remote engagement, driving customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Training and Development: Deliver training sessions in-person, remotely, and in classroom environments, empowering team members to excel in their roles.
- Travel and Collaboration: Travel within the region as required to fulfill on-site service and training responsibilities, fostering strong relationships with international teams and stakeholders.
- Process Improvement: Assist in the development and execution of value-added services such as service contracts, data plans, system audits, and spare parts programs, continually enhancing the quality of support provided.
- Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related study from an accredited institution.
- Language Skills: Bilingual proficiency in English / Japanese OR English / Korean, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Work Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience in a technical support role, with prior experience in hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Skill Set: Knowledge of electronics and information systems, along with excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
