As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer support for MQ projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Offer technical assistance and troubleshooting services for customers utilizing MQ and MQ Appliance.
- Collaborate with other support organizations to prioritize and diagnose problems to resolution.
- Communicate action plans to clients or representatives.
- Maintain knowledge base articles to enable customers to resolve issues without further escalation.
This role involves problem determination/problem source identification, problem recreation, diagnosing data dumps/traces, and debugging complex computer systems/solutions. Strong communication and negotiation skills are required to work with customers and internal project teams globally.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Excellent communication and technical skills to advise and lead customers on MQ projects.
- Strong listening, detail-oriented thinking, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative global organization.
- Flexibility to work a 24/7/365 support schedule.
The ideal candidate should have experience with Unix/Linux or z/OS, and possess strong leadership, customer support, and teamwork skills.
