Rail Division Design Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team in the Rail division on a permanent basis.
- Provide design coordination support to the Project Manager/Design Manager.
- Conduct site inspections and field work as required.
- Ensure that analysis and design tasks meet technical standards, client requirements, and SMEC's expectations.
- Collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and contributors to maintain quality, timeliness, and project coordination.
- Apply project management principles to carry out assigned tasks and deliver project outcomes to the required standard and within set deadlines.
The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or equivalent, working towards CPEng, and 4+ years' experience in civil work design. Previous track, drainage, or earthwork design is beneficial. Excellent communication skills – written and verbal – and understanding of Australian standards and codes are essential features of this role.
