About this role

  • We are seeking a talented engineer to join our rail division on a permanent basis.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Civil design delivery on major rail projects
  • Design coordination support to the project manager/design manager
  • Site inspections and field work when needed
  • Ensuring that analysis and design tasks undertaken meet appropriate technical standards and client requirements
  • Collaborating with team members, contributors, and stakeholders to maintain quality, timeliness, and coordination of project deliverables
  • Applying project management principles in carrying out assigned tasks and accomplishing project deliverables

About you

  • Tertiary qualifications in civil engineering or equivalent
  • Working towards CPEng
  • 4+ years' industry experience in civil work design
  • Previous track, drainage, or earthwork design is advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
  • Understanding of Australian standards and codes
