Procurement Manager Role

This is a key leadership position responsible for leading the transformation of procurement practices within the cluster.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the identification, negotiation, selection, and management of local supplier relationships.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to drive change and implement global category management strategies.
  • Develop and execute high-impact procurement strategies to enhance value delivery.
  • Hold relevant suppliers to agreed performance standards and intervene as necessary.
  • Champion awareness and adherence to key procurement policies and processes.

Requirements:

  • Deep knowledge and expertise in procurement processes, tendering/negotiations, supplier management, and understanding of procurement strategies at the global and local level.
  • Ability to lead transformational change and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Capacity to develop and execute high-impact procurement strategies.
  • Proficiency in identifying and mitigating compliance and financial risks.
  • Ability to build strong networks across legal, finance, and other teams.
  • Understanding of global procurement strategies and the ability to integrate them at the local level.
  • Sustainability knowledge: Commitment to embedding sustainability into local procurement efforts that align with the company's goals.

About the Job:

The Procurement Manager will be responsible for leading the transformation of procurement practices from within the cluster based on the strategies set by the Global Category teams. The role requires a deep understanding of procurement processes, tendering/negotiations, supplier management, and the ability to lead transformational change and influence senior stakeholders.
