This Government Agency requires a Strategic Procurement Programme Leader to join their team at a great rate of pay. This job is located in Western Sydney and offers hybrid working flexibility.

**Your new role**

In your new position, you will work with management and leaders to develop and leverage key relationships in the engagement of service providers and management of contracts. You will provide support by interpreting contractual conditions and obligations and negotiating variations to assist to resolve disputes to achieve contract delivery. You will Inform, consult with and provide procurement, contract management and probity advice across the organisation. This includes the preparation of EOIs, RFQs, RFTs. You will identify and address procurement risks to ensure strategic, contractual, compliance, operational, financial and reputational risks are mitigated.

**What you'll need to succeed**

In order to be considered for this role, you will have experience in Procurement, Logistics, Commerce, Law or similar. You will have experience using TechnologyOne software or equivalent. You will have extensive experience and sound knowledge of Procurement and purchasing including the use of Government contracts and e-tender systems. You will have strong knowledge of Tendering evaluation, policy and procedures and vendor agreements. You will have excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts to achieve the required outcomes.
