Engineering Rehabilitation Specialist

Job Role
We are seeking a skilled professional to support the planning, design and compliance of rehabilitation activities in accordance with our safety management system. This role will involve facilitating and managing the design, scheduling and quality control of rehabilitation activities, conducting site assessments and developing solutions for site challenges.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have a degree in Engineering, experience with mining software such as Deswik or Vulcan and planning of bulk earth works. Exposure to mine scheduling packages and project management is highly desirable but not critical. Professional experience (5-7 years indicative) in a mining or civil engineering environment would be regarded, as would demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, ability to think logically, solve problems and work independently, whilst maintaining a team focus.
Your Skills and Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Mining or Civil Engineering
- Experience with mining software such as Deswik or Vulcan
- Planning of bulk earth works
- Exposure to mine scheduling packages and project management
