About the Opportunity

This role involves assessing the rehabilitation needs of employees who have been injured and developing strategies to help them return to work as soon as possible.

The ideal candidate will be an Allied Health professional with a strong background in occupational therapy, physiotherapy, psychology, or rehabilitation counseling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial rehabilitation assessments and work site assessments to determine the best course of action for each employee.
  • Design and implement return to work programs tailored to individual needs.
  • Provide training sessions on occupational rehabilitation, policy, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling or Exercise Physiology required.
  • Eligibility for membership of relevant professional association (essential).
  • Excellent case management skills with proven return to work outcomes.
