Work Rehabilitation Specialist

Evaluate and rehabilitate workers who have been injured at work or due to non-work-related causes. Ensure their safe return to the workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough assessments of client needs and develop individualized plans for rehabilitation and return-to-work.
  2. Evaluate treatment options and recommend courses of action to facilitate optimal recovery.
  3. Collaborate with clients, employers, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and effective case management.
  4. Provide education and support to clients on workplace accommodations and return-to-work strategies.
  5. Monitor client progress, adjust plans as needed, and ensure timely return to work.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Professional registration with relevant regulatory bodies (e.g., AHPRA, RCAA, ASORC).
  • Comprehensive understanding of workplace injury management, rehabilitation principles, and return-to-work strategies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to evaluate complex client cases.
