Capital Raising and Investor Relations Specialist

This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in capital raising, investor relations, and business development. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of meeting fundraising targets and KPIs, as well as excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Investor Engagement: Source and engage with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and sophisticated investors to raise capital for fund investments.
  • Network Development: Build a strong network of investors and present fund opportunities to convert leads into active investors.
  • Marketing & Strategy Input: Contribute to the development of marketing strategies aimed at attracting new investors and assist in creating marketing materials and pitch documents.
  • Presentation & Meeting Skills: Lead investor meetings and presentations, effectively communicating the value of fund investment opportunities.
  • Crm Management: Accurately maintain and track all sales activities within the CRM system to ensure a comprehensive record of investor interactions.
  • Investor Onboarding Support: Collaborate with the fund administrator to facilitate the investor onboarding process and act as the primary contact for investor inquiries.
  • Industry Representation: Represent the company at industry events and investor-focused gatherings to engage with existing and prospective investors.
  • Investor Relations Support: Strengthen investor relationships and retention by assisting the management team with high-quality investor communications and ongoing support.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience in capital raising, investor relations, and business development.
  • Ideal candidates will have an existing network of contacts from which they can raise capital.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proven track record in meeting fundraising targets and KPIs.
  • Knowledge of AFSL compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field.
