Senior Insurance Due Diligence Specialist

Job Summary:
M Marsh is seeking a highly skilled Senior Insurance Due Diligence Advisor to join our Private Equity and Mergers & Acquisitions (PEMA) practice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving our PEMA business forward, leading insurance due diligence engagements, and coordinating services with various Marsh practices to deliver exceptional results for our clients.
About the Role:
In this position, you will utilize your insurance expertise to advise clients on risks and insurance matters throughout the lifecycle of their investments, from acquisition to exit. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to the growth of the Marsh brand in the Australian and New Zealand market
- Preparing and delivering due diligence reports
- Coordinating services provided by other practices within Marsh
- Mentoring and coaching junior staff members
- Acting as a liaison to overseas PEMA professionals
- Developing and nurturing relationships with private equity firms, law firms, accounting firms, investment banks, and financial institutions
- Responding to RFPs
- Staying up-to-date with changing risk and insurance market conditions
- Liaising with internal Marsh practices to implement insurance placements
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in insurance broking and account management for corporate and/or global accounts
- Prior experience in a Due Diligence role or demonstrated experience with clients considering M&A in an insurance broking context
- Highly organized and self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Strong data analysis, research, report writing, and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
