About the Role
- Prepare complex financial statements in accordance with tax compliance, accounting, and financial reporting standards.
- Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients, including high net worth individuals, family groups, trusts, partnerships, SMEs, and multinational companies.
- Supervise junior staff and provide guidance on tax planning and advisory services.
- Review completed tax returns and identify non-compliance issues.
- Assist with quarterly and annual tax compliance matters.
- Liaise with clients, the ATO, external auditors, and financial advisors.
- Develop expertise in areas such as Div7a, FBT, Crypto Tax, CGT, BAS, IAS, Payroll Tax, Company tax, DTA, DTL, and tax-effective accounting.
About You
- Senior Accountant: 3-5 years of experience in business services and tax advisory, with a strong commitment to client focus and delivering high-quality service.
- Manager: 5+ years of experience in business services, with a proven track record of leading a team and providing advisory services.
- CA/CPA qualification, with a strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to establish professional relationships with internal staff and external clients.
- Effective multitasking skills, with a proactive approach to tasks and challenges.
- Self-motivated individuals who take responsibility for personal and professional development.
- Team players who are committed to supporting their colleagues.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with a long-term working visa, PR, or citizenship.
