Financial Leadership Opportunity

Seeking an experienced financial leader to oversee the finance function and drive strategic insights for operational and business performance.

About the Role

  • Lead a small, capable finance team to build a collaborative high-performing culture.
  • Deliver accurate timely financial reports including P&L, balance sheet, cashflow variance analysis.
  • Own month-end close process reconciliations journals.
  • Partner with senior leadership on annual budgets forecasts cost allocation.
  • Review optimize labor equipment sell rates to ensure profitability.
  • Drive system improvements automation reporting enhancements in Business Intelligence tools.
  • Manage compliance obligations BAS FBT payroll tax statutory reporting.
  • Act as key contact for auditors tax advisors regulatory bodies.

About You

You are a strong financial leader with a proactive approach excellent communication skills ability to partner effectively with both operational executive teams.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' financial accounting experience including leadership.
  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting Finance Business.
  • CA/CPA qualification highly regarded (not essential).
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Strong Excel skills BI tools exposure highly regarded.
  • Background in construction engineering project-based environments preferred.
