Indigenous Health Academic Leader

Associate Professor or Professor of Indigenous Health will provide leadership in Indigenous health research and curriculum development in the School of Medical, Indigenous and Health Sciences. The successful candidate will be appointed at Associate Professor (Level D) or Professor (Level E) commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership in Indigenous health research and curriculum development
- Support and mentor academic staff; foster a culturally safe and collegial environment
- Hold a key leadership position within the Ngarruwan Ngadju First Peoples Health and Wellbeing Research Centre
- Collaborate across faculties, research centres, and Indigenous communities to shape the future of Indigenous health
- Strong track record in Indigenous health research, teaching, and engagement
- Experience supervising and mentoring academic staff and higher degree research students
- Commitment to supporting Indigenous higher education and capacity-building
- Proven leadership and strategic capabilities; experience leading Indigenous health initiatives
