About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Group Accountant to join our team in Fortitude Valley. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the month-end close process and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Develop and implement financial processes and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Collaborate with the Financial Controller and CFO to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
  • Monitor financial performance and provide insights to drive business growth
  • Participate in the annual audit process and ensure a smooth audit experience
Requirements
  • Recognised Accounting qualification within Australia
  • Experience working in a complex group function with consolidations and intercompany transactions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A business services background within public practice will be highly regarded
