Job Title: Senior Tax Accountant
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Accountant to join our team at RPS Group. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for providing tax services in Australia and the wider APAC region, including direct and indirect tax compliance, reporting, tax governance, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review annual tax returns using a combination of internal resources and external service providers.
- Prepare withholding taxes and FBT returns, as well as review and prepare BAS returns as required.
- Prepare tax reporting in the region for both Group Finance and local finance teams.
- Oversee and prepare Tax Consolidated Group PAYGI Lodgements.
- Set up tax compliance requirements on projects that are awarded.
- Assist with local file A, B, and transfer pricing documentation.
- Support and implement global tax initiatives where appropriate.
- Maintain and develop excellent tax technical knowledge and serve as a subject matter expert on Australian tax issues.
- Assist with regional and ATO tax reviews or audits.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have a professional qualification with 5+ years of corporate tax experience in a multi-national environment. You will also have a proven track record of success operating at a similar level within a global reputable company or large accounting firm.
