Workforce Development Specialist

Job Overview:
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with managers to build workforce capability aligned with strategic objectives.
- Provide expert guidance on performance management, talent development, and organisational change initiatives.
- Offer advice on complex workforce matters including grievances, disputes, and industrial relations.
- E nsure compliance with relevant legislation, awards, and organisational policies.
- Promote a culture of Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment within the organisation.
Requirements include:
- Tertiary qualifications or experience in Workforce/Human Resources management.
- Previous experience in generalist workforce/human resources functions including change management, industrial consultation, grievance and disciplinary management, job evaluation, recruitment and conflict resolution.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the public sector, employment law, Industrial Relations, EEO, Child Protection, WHS Legislation and relevant State Awards.
The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and team player with excellent problem-solving skills, able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
