About This Opportunity

This fixed-term role is seeking an experienced Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical assistance to employees and ensure the smooth operation of our IT systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in desktop support, with experience in Microsoft O365, Active Directory, VPN, and Windows & Linux PCs. They will also be able to perform DNS lookups and provide IT support in blue-collar environments.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, who can work effectively in a team and provide outstanding customer service. Relevant tertiary education and certifications are highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide L1/L2 support for Microsoft O365, Active Directory, VPN, Supporting Windows & Linux PCs, including setting up users and log-ins.
  • Support SAP Business One users.
Requirements
  • 3+ years experience in Service Desk / Desktop Support.
  • Windows Server and Desktop Support experience.
  • Experience supporting Windows and Linux PCs (ideal).
  • Microsoft 365 Administration experience including MS Teams, Defender, Intune.
  • Windows MDM Device Management experience.
  • Ability to perform DNS lookups.
  • Experience providing IT support in blue-collar environments (ideal).
  • Experience supporting SAP Business One (desirable, not essential).
  • Relevant tertiary education and certifications.
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork/collaboration skills.
  • Outgoing personality with ability to provide IT support to blue-collar workers.
