About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sustainability Specialist to join our team at City of Port Phillip. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of our Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project lead (or project team member) to deliver the private EV charging project, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Develop and maintain external partnerships to improve sustainability outcomes, focusing on electric vehicle charging, and identify new innovations and technologies for EV charging.
  • Identify, mitigate, and resolve project-related issues, and work collaboratively across the organisation to deliver the private EV charging project and its objectives.
  • Actively contribute to a culture of professional practice focused on customer service and value for the community.
Requirements
  • Tertiary degree in sustainability, engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience or lesser formal qualifications in sustainability, transport engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Excellent skills in project management and project delivery, with experience coordinating cross-functional teams and excellent stakeholder management skills.
