The role of Multiskilled Carer is a key part in enhancing residents' well-being and quality of life. As a skilled caregiver, you will support residents with their daily living, social and emotional needs, delivering person-centred care that promotes dignity, respect and independence.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing personal care, including assistance with hygiene, grooming, dressing and mobility
• Supporting residents' independence and participation in meaningful daily activities, promoting dignity and choice
• Administering medication safely, in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Maintaining accurate documentation and communicating effectively with nursing, allied health and management personnel
• Contributing to infection prevention and workplace health and safety practices
• Assisting with mealtime support to ensure nutritional needs are met
• Fostering a kind, respectful and supportive environment that upholds our values and the rights of residents

Key Requirements:

• Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care
• Experience working in an aged care setting as a carer
• Ability to relate to elderly customers with empathy and collaborate effectively with health professionals, service providers and case managers
• Ability to interpret individual care plans and provide tailored care to meet individual goals
• Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills
• Understanding of cognitive strategies, social interaction and meeting the mental and emotional health needs of residents
• Ability to meet all compliance requirements, including a National Police Clearance and adherence to the Aged Care Code of Conduct
