About this role:

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our Northam Recovery Rehabilitation Centre. The successful candidate will be passionate, committed and dynamic, with the ability to support clients within an evidence-based framework.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct support to clients, including personal care and emotional support
  • Collaborating and empowering clients to make sound decisions and informed choices
  • Monitoring clients' physical and emotional well-being, recording any concerns and reporting them to the relevant clinician

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Similar experience working in either Mental Health or Recovery Centres
  • An understanding and non-judgemental attitude towards people with drug use and mental health problems, including those from diverse cultural backgrounds and the Aboriginal community
  • Passion about helping people with addiction
  • Transferable life/work skills along with a caring and compassionate approach

Licence/Certification:National Police Certificate, Australian Drivers Licence, Work Authorisation:Australia
